What I'm doing now
Right now I'm
- looking at how Strong Customer Authentication impacts everyone paying government through GOV.UK Pay
- reading Elinor Ostrom's Rules for Radicals by Derek Wall, Harvard Business Review's 10 Must Reads on Managing Yourself, and The Sunken Land Begins to Rise Again by M. John Harrison
- re-playing through the old Half-Life game, and starting on The Return of the Obra Dinn
- building a Jekyll theme based on the GOV.UK Design System
- volunteering some time with the Social Mobility Network
- buddying with another product manager, to develop my mentoring skills
- trying to run 15K a week and training for a 4:40/ki 5K
Later I'd like to
- update my website with the aforementioned Jekyll theme
- be promoted to senior product manager
- walk the Llŷn Peninsula section of the Wales Coast Path
- walk the Snowdonia Way non-stop
- research the similarities between digital strategy and guerrilla warfare
- start taking photographs again, start that series on the prehistoric experience
- finish walking the South Downs Way
- take and pass my driving test
- do more talks about digital product management and strategic design
- pick up where I left off learning Welsh
- run an online music event, because I miss going to Roads
If I finish the projects in the top list, I'll have time to take on projects in the bottom list. That, I'm told, is the point of a now page.
